Floor mounted vibrating feeders reclaim and blend coal from a 20m high stockpile situated above. At the dead end of the tunnel and perpendicular to it, runs a small escape tunnel formed from precast culverts.

Many of these mining plants are designed as skid mounted and in order to eliminate the need for costly concrete foundations.

This Reinforced Earth wall has the benefit of simple small foundations and the capacity to accommodate settlement within the foundations.
